Summer 2019
Welcome to the Summer edition of Conversations, my quarterly letter to share with you stories, insights and upcoming events & offerings from Maine Officiants and Essence of Spirit Ceremonies.
Memorial Day weekend marked the second year anniversary of my brother’s passing. I feel a great loss in my life despite my understanding that his spirit is at peace. While attending a memorial day parade I was engaging my inner child by clapping, whoop-whooping and waving my hands at all the colorful and decorated parade marchers. At the end of the parade I was stunned by an absolutely intentional message from Spirit that my brother was watching over me and sending his love. Remember now that my birth name is O’Farrell!
The Wedding Season has begun!
I’ll be traveling from Kennebunkport to Acadia National Park this season to officiate wedding ceremonies for couples from all around Maine and as far away as the UK. I feel especially blessed to be a part of these sacred testimonies of love and deep commitment.
Sisters at the Table
Some of you may have already read on social media about my vision of bringing women together to share conversation in a setting of open- hearted reception without judgement. Our first Table was held on May 31st and women of all ages attended. I will be posting the Table locations and dates on the closed FaceBook page Sisters at the Table. Yoga & Crone Initiation Ceremony
“The definition of Crone is the power, passion, and purpose of ancient female wisdom. The crowning triple phase of the ancient Triple Goddess: Maiden/Mother/Crone. The Crone is joyous, outrageous, real and at ease, living from the inside out. The Crone’s title is related to the crown and she represents the power of the ancient tribal matriarch.”
